These plain white retroreflective decals are printed with conspicuity information and a cutting template on the backing. Ten straight cuts will get you 11 different shapes to use on your helmet or bike for added nighttime visiblity.
Use a scissors to cut along the template lines. The template yields 11 shapes.
Arrange the shapes into a design that fits onto your helmet or bike. On a helmet, arrows are a good choice--as you turn your head, the arrows show other drivers where you're looking and give them an idea of what your next move might be.
There's no limit to the number of designs you can create with just these shapes.
Once you've settled on a design you like, carefully put them in place. Presto! Added nighttime visibility!
If you feel even more creative, you can create and cut out your own design. Below we have recreated the logo of the local race club. Almost invisible by day, it glows brightly when lit up at night.
Submitted by Rick Lally, September 10, 2008. "Hello, I just got my copy of Minnesota Motorcycle Monthly, and I found the stickers. So I decided to try them, why not? Here are two pictures, one in normal room light with no flash. The second with the lights out and the flash on. After seeing the second picture, I was sold."
